From the Field in Nicaragua
As we remain committed to church planting around the world, we want to give a direct update from one of our church plants in Nicaragua.
Shalom Church
“Last Sunday our church celebrated its first anniversary. We celebrated God's faithfulness. We are excited and with much joy for God's work in our church. Our church is growing in the knowledge of God and the fulfillment of the great commission.
New brothers and sisters in the faith were baptized and gave testimonies that they are children of God. We continue to preach salvation in Christ Jesus.
Man with the Mark of Christ
We continue to work in the formation and training of new leaders to serve in the different ministries. It is a very challenging ministry. Discipleship for men is one of the priorities in our church.
Betel Church Ministries San Pedro, Chontales
Betel Church is ready to launch. The launch team is excited to open the doors of the church in September. The formation and training of the ministries has been a very blessed process. We ask for prayers for this new church.
We are grateful to God for the construction of the building where the brethren will worship our Lord and Savior. Thank you for the generous hearts of the brethren who gave for this construction.
Shalom Church has been committed to serving the brethren of San Pedro. It is our desire to work together to preach Christ and plant other churches.
Puertas De Paris Ministry
Puertas de Paris is a small town located 15 kilometers from Santo Tomás. The Shalom church has been serving in this community since December. In this small village there is no church of any organization. The people in this place are very poor and in need. Members of Shalom Church are committed to bring the word of God and other ministries to these people.
This ministry has been a great blessing for our church, Shalom members have the opportunity to serve and preach the gospel to these people. In this place we have Bible studies for men and family meetings on Sunday afternoons.
Pray for:
My spiritual growth.
That God will provide new families in the church.
Discipleship and training of new leaders.
Launching of Bethel Church, San Pedro.
New ministries at Puertas de Paris.
Open new churches in the south of the country (Carazo).
