Nick Ely

Lead Pastor

Nick is married to Rachel, and together they are raising four boys: Titus, Jude, Josiah, and Ezekiel. Since joining the staff of Christ Church in 2014, Nick served for seven years in student ministry before stepping into his current role as lead pastor in Central Phoenix and overseeing all ministries of the church. He earned his undergraduate degree from Grand Canyon University and studied theology at Southern Seminary. In his free time, you’ll often find Nick hanging with his family, reading books, or going for a run.

About the Central Phoenix Congregation
Christ Church Central Phoenix was planted on December 6, 2020 in the heart of Phoenix, and moved to its current location in 2021.

Arriving for the First Time
On your first visit, look for the Guest Tent, where one of our team members will provide you with a gift and answer any questions you may have.

Checking in Your Kids
Parents will need to check in their kids before service. Once your child is registered for the first time, you will receive a matching pick-up receipt which will be required to pick your child up after service. Pre-Register →

Not Sure Where To Go?

Use this map to find the worship center or where to drop off your kids. If it’s your first time, look for the signs that indicate guest parking and then make sure to stop by the Guest Tent. You’ll want to arrive 15–20 minutes early.

Our attendees wear everything from shorts and flip flops to dresses and slacks—so come in whatever you're comfortable wearing!
