When and where is Summer Jam?
We will be taking over our Gilbert campus from June 5–7.

What does Summer Jam cost?
The price of Summer Jam is $195.

Who can attend preteen Summer Jam?
Kids who are currently in 4th or 5th grade (entering 5th or 6th grade in the fall of 2024) may attend.

What will my child be doing at Summer Jam? What kinds of activities are provided and what does a typical day look like?
Every day at Summer Jam will be filled with adventure, activities, and discipleship. Throughout these days at Summer Jam, kids will have the opportunity to participate in highlights such as a dodgeball tournament at a trampoline park, an on-campus water day, and much more fun!

Will my child be safe during this event?
Yes, the safety of our kids is always our first priority. Throughout the week, your child will be under the close care of our Christ Church Kids leaders. In addition, we have enlisted the supervision of our security team to be on campus with us as we enjoy our activities and sleep overnight.

What are the accommodations like for my child?
Kids will stay in gender-specific rooms with their leaders. Boys and girls are closely supervised and do not stay in the same quarters.

My student has medical issues/allergies/etc. Who can I speak with to know my child will receive the necessary treatment?
If your child has any medical issues or allergies that require medication, please note them on the registration form and bring the medication at the time of drop off. Please place your child’s medications in a plastic bag with the child’s name and a picture inside. All medications must be in original packaging with instructions. All medication will be turned in at the time of drop-off for Summer Jam. During their time at Summer Jam, Mikayla Floyd, Kids Director, will distribute medication to your kids daily. It is the child’s responsibility to take their medications as needed.

What should my child bring to Summer Jam?
You’ll want to make sure your child brings clothes for the three days (including an extra pair of clothes or a swim suit for the water day), a water bottle, sleeping bag, pillow, towel (for water day), toiletries, flashlight, Bible, and pen or pencil. Kids may not bring a cell phone, iPad, smart watch, gaming system, weapons of any kind (pocket knives), pets, skateboards, or bikes.

This is my first time letting my student be gone for multiple days. Can I contact my student as needed?
Kids will be busy at Summer Jam, so we ask for your trust that we will contact you if your child needs anything—even if it’s just to talk to you. You may view our private social media page for daily updates and photos. A link for this will be provided after registration. If there is an emergency, you may always contact Mikayla Floyd, Kids Director, at 480-235-9517.
